Chicago, IL—June 10, 2020—A webcast entitled, “Saved by the Controller–Tales from the Boardroom,” will feature “serial CEO” Jim Treleaven, and Gordon Nettleton, a career CFO/Controller. The panelists will share experiences about how Controllers had significant impacts on their companies. The complimentary webcast is scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 1 PM CST, and is produced by the Controllers Council, a community and platform focused on accounting resources and training, best practices information, recognition and networking.

Jim Treleaven is President/CEO of Via Strategy Group, LLC (VSG). VSG advises CEOs, Boards of Directors, and other C-level executives on growth and turnaround strategies, M&A transactions, and also serves interim C-level roles. His long career includes multiple CEO roles at both public and private companies. Jim serves on several boards including the Controllers Council Board of Advisors.

Gordon Nettleton is Principal of The Nettleton Consulting Group which provides interim CFO/Controller services. His 27 years of accounting and finance experience includes PepsiCo, BNSF, Pharmerica, and SABRE. Gordon’s expertise in financial reporting, budgeting/analysis, regulatory and compliance, information technology and related expertise is often leveraged for startups, turnarounds, and financially troubled companies.
