IMA and Controllers Council Form Partnership
Chicago and Montvale, N.J., October 20, 2022 — The Controllers Council and IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) announced today a partnership between the two organizations to develop research and thought leadership, and promote IMA’s CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification to the global audience of management accounting and corporate finance professionals.
Amidst a changing profession with technological advancements, a turbulent global economy, and a shift to more strategic job responsibilities, this partnership allows for sharing of important information resources, along with providing Controllers Council subscribers access to the CMA program and IMA’s Accounting and Finance Conference. The two organizations will also have the opportunity to collaborate on future event panels, research projects, podcasts, and other activities geared toward accounting and finance professionals.
